Data Access Management deployment methodology

Based on the experience with existing customers, Spatiq has developed a methodology and best practices for data access management and entitlement management. Realizing that a typical customer may rely on tens of different applications and systems to run the day to day business, we've devised an approach to ensure the success of the deployment process without forcing a long turnaround times and massive budget on the customer.

Our deployment approach is composed of three steps:

Step 1 Discovery

In the first step, our system is deployed in the organization in a "Read only" mode. The system helps us aggregate real time information on the current state of data access definitions and requirements of the organization. The first step yields very solid benefits to the customers, presenting them with a live view of their current state and helps them identify vulnerability areas.

Step 2 Legacy

In the phase 2 of the deployment we interface Spatiq Access Management with the various existing applications in the organization. This is performed by using the existing interfaces provided by the various vendors. The impact on the existing applications is minimal. Our interface layer provides a solution for a large number of application and infrastructures and provide tools for development of interfaces to new applications.

Step 3 Future Application

Our API allows home grown applications, developed in the organization, to comply with the Spatiq Data Access Management solution. This relieves the development team from the need to invest in the development of an Entitlement management facility into the new application.
